I just watched the episode on Sherri Martel. One of the few episodes that I had very little previous knowledge of the person's background/real life. I never knew of her relationship with Jake Roberts.
I could have a bit more respect for her now, although she did choose her career over her family.

Very sad story. Her son is upsetting to see and hear.

Very sad story. Her son is upsetting to see and hear. Yeah, when they showed that clip towards the end, of him at the Hall of Fame and then seeing him today, it's like looking at two different people. There's no way you'd think they were the same person. We didn't see much of her, but his step-mom seems like an absolute angel.

My cable provider doesn't get Vice, but I was lucky enough to catch the Chris Adams and Sheri episode on YouTube that was very watchable. Some of the YouTube Dark Side shows have horrible quality. Both were very sad. Two truly wastes of good talent. With Adams, it had to suck watching his student propel to the sky all the while he's languishing in some regional promotion. I had no idea that Sheri was a stripper or that she was romantically involved with Jake the Snake. I liked everything Sheri was involved in. She was good during the dying days of the AWA. I did like her with Michaels. They both helped each other out. It appears that her kid probably has some form of cancer.

They usually show up at Daily Motion and a few other places they shouldn't. I have enjoyed and learned something from all the stories this year, but it is indeed Sad Side of the Ring, not that much Dark Side.

Without seeing Harley Race or Earthquake, I'm more inclined to believe you when you said that it's Sad more than Dark. These two seemed like decent guys. Yeah, Harley was known for driving like a nut and fighting in bars, but he didn't come off as self destructive like most of the people who were/are showcased.

The Video Vault here seems to get the links posted here within a day, at least this season's episodes.

The thing I learned most about Harley was that he was piece of shit and made life hell for his wife. Self destructive with drink and cigarettes, lucky he didn't kill himself and others while operating cars and boats too. Not sad, dark.

This guy had part of his tongue removed, but it seems like part of his jaw was removed too. It’s horrible for a mother to abandon her child at 3 months old like Sherri did.

I didn't watch ECW . Don't remember if it was even on here. Kriss will know that I'm sure.
Anyway, I liked the episode fine. There wasn't much new to me from reading bits and pieces over the years but I didn't know he was a Chippendale guy. I did like hearing him tell the stories himself. He's got a certain charisma even now.
