There wasn't much in the Beefcake one and there wasn't really any in the Tenta one other than he got cancer and died young.
They could do one on Moolah treating the women like shit. Don't think they've done that yet. Bob Roop has a podcast about wrestling in Iraq and ,if they could get some footage, it could make a great show, though I think Roop is the only person alive who could talk about it. There's gotta be other stuff left that's more 'Dark Side'.

But those would be interesting shows.

Yeah , Rikidozan for sure. Halme could be interesting too. Not sure there's enough for a full show but he was a nazi so it will fill the Dark quota.
I don't know what the ratings are for Dark Side but I'd guess it's niche enough anyway that most of audience would watch both topics you suggested. They've got one on Chris Colt this season. That's pretty niche.
(I do remember hearing DSOTR was the number one show on Vice)

He was elected to Finnish Parliament despite being a full-blown alcoholic and drug addict. He was arrested once and committed to a mental institution another time, while still serving in Parliament. He was so fucked up the entire time, he barely remembered that he served, and at the end I guess he gave himself a type of dementia from all the substances. He eventually was removed from Parliament and given a small pension until he killed himself. And people think the U.S. government is a mess.

The Moolah one is excellent.

None of them look anything like Tony Halme.

I enjoyed the Race show. Great footage and a lot from his ex-wife. I felt very bad for her. She seems like she was in a horribly abusive relationship and is still in at least a little bit of denial over how bad it was, even though she eventually left him.
Then you have the tall tales we've all heard before, and Mick Foley says something like, "I don't know if it's true or not, but it could be." That about sums it up. Vince trying to leg dive Race seems insane even for him. I know he fucked around with Lesnar and Angle to prove his machismo, but that was many moons later and they had a totally different relationship. To do it in a real fight against Race, who had a rep for trying to kill people, is too hard for me to believe from a young Vince just trying to establish himself. The latest version of this story is that Race put him in a front facelock and choked him unconscious. There's less than a 1% chance that ever happened.
Then you have the KC house show story, where Race is looking to shoot Hogan but instead settles for setting the ring on fire. You'd think something like that would be easily verifiable from many people, but I don't think I've ever heard a first-hand account that is convincing. There are also a million versions of this, from Hogan cowering in the back as Race stalks him with a gun to the version told last night where Race shows up drunk at 2pm when he had to know that Hogan certainly wouldn't be there yet.

I enjoyed it too. I always thought Race must have been tough to live with but didn't know how bad he was to his second wife. He was a real piece of shit, according to that show.
Also, I'd not heard much detail about the boat accident. Reminds me of the Sunny case from a few years ago. I don't feel bad that he had to pay 250k or whatever it ended up, he could've killed them. This was a boat ride after drinking scotch from the minute he got out of bed.
Good show. Really,really great footage.

Chris Colt's name is forever etched in my memory, as he was advertised on one of the Bearman's infamous shows, that passed thru my old neighbourhood in 1987. I have many regrets in life, and this is one of them - not attending this show. It was at the arena I grew up playing hockey in, and even when my son played there a few years ago, it brought back so many amazing memories. This is a missed memory though that would have been near the top. I clipped the ad for the show and have it in my wrestling scrapbook somewhere, and I saw the ad recently on the Maple Leaf Wrestling archives page. www.wrestlingdata.com/index.php?befehl=shows&show=343529in addition to those three matches, which would have been main events in any arena across the country, there was a womens match, a midget match, and of course the bear match. What a card!! I'm still kicking myself.
