Dark Side of the Ring will return on March 5 on Vice TV with 10 new episodes. The topics will be:
- Harley Race - Terry Gordy - Sensational Sherri - Chris Adams - Black Saturday - The Sandman - John Tenta - Buff Bagwell - Brutus Beefcake - Chris Colt
Another source says that Kurt Angle will be featured, so one of the above may be incorrect or replaced.

Chris Colt is one of the really interesting ones and I'd imagine there'll be some new, crazy stories told. Not much footage as far as I know.
I'll watch, though some of them aren't too interesting.
On Beefcake and Buff ,I know Beefcake had some incident with suspected anthrax and Buff was a man-whore. But they surely can't get a full episode from those two things?
Why is John Tenta there? He was in a half shoot in Japan and other than that, and his death from cancer, I don't think I ever heard anything controversial.

Beefcake is a NO.
Probably the most annoying wrestler for me.

What’s Harleys dark side? I know he was a badass but I’m failing to recall any below-board tales.

What’s Harleys dark side? I know he was a badass but I’m failing to recall any below-board tales. Well here's some bits they could fill a show with, some truer than others: Broke in as a young teen. Drove Happy Humphrey around and basically had to wash his ass Drove like a maniac, probably killing one wife Sewed a live snake's mouth shut(?) Pulled a gun on Hogan Threatened to set fire to the WWF ring Had to wear a colostomy bag after illness and injury Acted as bodyguard for Flair in Japan in case of double cross. Drank and smoked hard his whole life Plus I'm sure there's tales of him beating up football players and so on. Maybe not all "dark" stuff but there's a story there.

I hope they have David Manning on the Harley episode to tell his Harley stories. The bell ringer bar story always makes me laugh and them wrecking a rental car and then backing it into the return lot and bouncing before anyone noticed it was nearly destroyed was something of the time.

I imagine the Race show is going to focus on the neck and back problems that put him in a wheelchair.

Yeah that's why I asked what his "Dark Side" stuff was. I know Harley has an interesting story, all these guys do.

That kind of sucks if they have to turn it into "Sad Side of the Ring" to fill their quota of shows. In general I think the topics are weak and they are running out. They can obviously fill 100 seasons by profiling different alcoholics, drug addicts, and guys with poor quality of life after retirement due to injury. But I’m not seeing anything that really stands out in this batch of shows. Sandman? He’s a run-of-the-mill alcoholic who wound up making more money than someone like him ever could’ve dreamed of. Not exactly a Chris Benoit story. I think now they’re just trying to profile random guys with some nostalgia name value. Chris Colt is the only one who isn’t a household name to any fan of the ‘80s and ‘90s, and that’s the episode I most want to see. There are still some really bad stories out there if they’re willing to go more obscure.

There are certainly lots of murderers and criminals left in wrestling.
How about Blackjack Mulligan & Kendall Windham and the counterfeiting? That would be different, and A-list. (Now, with Bray Wyatt's death, I can see a decision to not do it this season.)
I guess they are not going to go the underage girl route, otherwise they'd have a ton of potential stories.

If they went with that they'll run a lot of wrestlers away from having anything to do with it. Rikidozan is a great story but probably doesn't work for this show. I listened to Bob Roop talking about Pat McInnis and there could he a story there but it's probably too niche as he was (as I understand) only involved for a few years. John Foley up in Canada was a total piece of shit and would probably work for this show but is very niche

I think they have to be very careful in covering any criminal story that didn’t result in a conviction, otherwise they will be sued into oblivion. Someone like Jerry Lawler has to be off-limits, he’s never been convicted or even tried for anything. There aren’t any convictions I know of for pedo shit other than Buck Zumhoffe, and he’s so relatively unknown and the story so uncomfortable, there’s no upside to doing it.
