No one mentioned this all week, but Nick ALdis showed up at the PPV last weekend and immediately was positioned as the top contender to the World title, which Steve Maclin won against KUSHIDA for the vacant title. Aldis has signed a contract. I suppose this was the best landing spot for him, he did well as the big fish in a small pond with the NWA and I guess that's what he's most comfortable with. Impact should build around him long-term.

Naomi will make her Impact debut this week at the TV tapings in Chicago. Is that the big fucking reveal? That's worse than anything Khan has done.

I'm not sure what the point is exactly, but he's just going to pop up at every wrestling show. Mercedes Monet is there too, but just traveling with Naomi and offering support. As far as Impact goes, I can't recall hearing about a huge announcement, they didn't really hype anything that big. But by there standards, Naomi is a legit big surprise. It's not like they're going to get The Rock. Oh wait, they actually did get him once weeks after he turned WWE down. That's still funny.

From the Observer website:
Jordynne Grace becomes free agent as Impact Wrestling contract expires
Former Impact Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace has become a free agent, first reported by Fightful.
Grace was unsuccessful in her challenge of current champion Deonna Purrazzo at Friday's Impact Under Siege and thus was ineligible to face Purrazzo again as long as she was champion.
Fightful reported that Grace's deal expired this month and that she is going to take some time away from wrestling to work on outside projects. In April, she took first place in several categories in her first bodybuilding competition and has also become a millionaire through her OnlyFans page.

Now we know what Wong has been doing. At least Gresham has a sugar mommy now since he has no idea how to make money in his line of work.

Probably no one is watching, but Fandango turned heel and is doing tremendous work with his promos ever since. If these segments were on AEW instead of Impact, he would have some buzz right now. I don’t know if he’ll be able to recreate himself like Matt Cardona did, but at least he’s trying something different.

Cardona looked physically tremendous in his match but dango was entertaining as hell. A fan was chanting against him so dango went out and pushed the rail back as if to create more space between him and the fan; Dude was hilarious.

Is Dango still doing his dancing gimmick on the indy scene? Because he's abandoned it in Impact.

With Jimmy Jacobs’ departure to AEW, Delirious has been officially hired by Impact as an agent. He was the head of Creative at ROH who found himself without a job once Tony Khan bought the company, and then he had temporary stints with MLW and Impact behind-the-scenes.
