I liked Superheroes when I was a kid & had a lot of the Mego (I think that's what they were called) action figures. I occasionally read a comic book, but never really got into them.
I had an LP/comic book combo that I loved. One side was Spiderman vs. a Werewolf and the other side was Spiderman vs. Draco King of the Dragonmen. I don't think these were the official titles. The werewolf turns out to be J.J. Jameson's astronaut kid & Draco was a mad scientist.
I was wondering:
Were these regular issue comics that were turned into a record, or were they specially written for the record? I've never heard of these villains outside of this record, so were they one-off characters? Were they ever referenced again?
I have a vague recollection that at the end of the first Spiderman movie (Toby Maguire) JJ Jameson says something about his son going to the moon. I thought it was going to be a lead in to a sequel, but I don't think it was.
Is anyone familiar with this record?

I remember having a Spider Man record when I was a kid but all I can remember about it is that it had what is now known as the “Spider Man ‘67” theme. Other than that I don’t remember because I broke the record accidentally somewhere around 1976.

Other than that I don’t remember because I broke the record accidentally somewhere around 1976. These were special issue comics. Aside from Spiderman there was also Comic book/records featuring The Incredible Hulk, several Star Trek ones, Wonder Woman, captain America, etc. As far as the characters the Werewolf one was based on a Werewolf by Night(the person's real name escapes me right now) that had it's own run and then was in various other comic series. Draco was a much lesser character who popped up here and there but never had his own book. The issues, at least the Spiderman ones had partial reprints of certain issues as well as new material. I've never owned one and at this point in time can't remember if I ever saw them in any comic book store I went into or it was something that just didn't appeal to me at the time. In 1974 I wasn't much in the know about comics and much of what I was getting bought for me by my Uncle Pete(who was buying comics for me to spite my mother who said they were a waste of time and money and I'd never amount to anything reading comic books.) Jokes on her.

My Avatar is Jeri Ryan, Seven Of Nine on Star Trek: Voyager and Boston Public as well as other series. Some people blame her for the complete downfall of US politics. I don't really feel like typing the story out, but her divorce to a US Senator led to Obama winning a seat in 2004, and the dominos began to fall at that point. Always thought she was hot though.

Don't remember hearing that story but I don't follow U.S. politics that closely really, though I may check it out. It will not take away from the fact that she is incredibly hot, even for me who is not head over heels in love with blonds that much. She is definitely one of the exceptions.
