This is a 6 minute mini documentary of how baseball was shared to the masses back in 1919 with newsreel footage I found to be neat

Nothing new but I always enjoy watching stuff like this so thanks for posting. The electronic scoreboards were great and I've seen working models. They used to be in some of the major department store windows, and people coming home from work would congregate in front of them in groups sometimes numbering more than 100 to "watch" the game. A different time for sure, but very cool. Aldo a reminder that all things old can be new again. The MLB app basically has a modern version of the same thing. If I can’t really watch a game, I look at the app for a live pitch-by-pitch recreation. This is the way you had to watch the game before TV unless you were there in person, and it still exists in some form today.
