Has Nakamura ever faced Muta before in any of his characters? They faced each other 3 times in 2008 and once in 2004, according to Cagematch. Two of those were singles matches with Muto beating him for the IWGP World title and then successfully defending it against him. The tag matches were Nakamura and Tanahashi beating Muto and Nishimura, and Nakamura and Goto beating Muto and Raijin in their only AJPW meeting.

Do they still make the spray that covers bald Spots? Cena needs that when he wrestles.

I thought that main event was terrible. It was the most hyped match on Smackdown in months and was basically a house show match that did no favors at all to The Bloodline. Baldy Cena sucks the life out of anything he touches, and barely put any effort into this match. Just garbage.

I wonder how much Cena got paid for putting in 3 minutes in the ring.
Looks like Gunther took a hard chair shot from Ricochet.

Otherwise, that felt like some Vince Russo booking right there. That made zero sense from Ronda's character perspective.

Baldy Cena sucks the life out of anything he touches, and barely put any effort into this match. Just garbage. Agreed. Sami is actually over, but they continue to book him like a lower midcard talent. Sadly, it was super predictable that they would have him do the job here given the way they've been doing things. It is way too soon to have tension again in The Bloodline. They just started getting along.

If you were going to bring Cena in for this match, which didn’t need to happen in the first place, then the ONLY way you book it is to have him do the job to Reigns. There’s no reason to job Sami in that BS match, even if it was KO getting the pin.

Not quite as bad since at least Rousey had been in a good match prior to getting squashed, but still terrible. The whole show was shit.

Sasha Banks has filed a trademark for Mone Banks, which seems to be her name going forward, at least in Japan.

File this under "Why we can't have nice things". Nakamura beat Muto last night when he sucked the green mist out of Muto's mouth and blew it back in his face. During the post-match press conference, Muto said he didn't realize Nakamura was queer and then called him a "faggot". Even in Japan, you can't do that anymore. The condemnation has come from every corner of the globe, endangering what's left of Muto's retirement tour and reportedly WWE went through the fucking roof that they wound up being involved in something like that, so you can pretty much forget about them ever allowing talent to cross-over again. Thanks a lot Muto.
Anyway, I haven't been able to find the whole match online, but Nakamura's spectacular entrance is available on YouTube (ruined by some terrible Irish commentators babbling halfway through):
