On September 13, 2014 we lost our friend and co-founder, James Zordani [The Clawmaster] Having worked closely with Jim the past several years I can tell you three things about Jim. 1. Jim loved conversing with the fans of the sport of wrestling, especially those that shared his passion for it's past and history. 2. Jim wanted his archives to be 'online'. 3. Jim wanted his archives to be 'free'. Heading up this forum will be Ron, who is widely-known and well-respected in his own right in the area of research as it pertains to professional wrestling. Please join us, not only in memory of Jim, but also in the spirit of keeping his work alive. Attachments:

This is a great way to honor Jim's memory. He was the one to invite me here, and now everytime we click on this page it'll be a little reminder of him.

Infamous
Hard to believe he's gone. I was also invited here by claw & as a testament to how helpful he was, when I 1st got here I read up on S&W before jumping in. I kept seeing OSW & OLC coming up all over in posts/threads. I had no clue about what any of that was since I was late to game with online shit so I shot claw a pm to see if he could clue me in. His response was way more detailed than I expected. In my mind he gave more than an adequate response through pm but then I noticed he started a thread called 'The Rise & Fall of OSW' just to fill in more details that he missed
He was a cool person & I hope people remember that

If it turns out that Ron is too busy to be bothered with the minute by minute moderation of this forum, I volunteer to take over for him and manipulate results as I see fit.
Claw would have wanted it that way. Ive already been playing with the Admin buttons.

Jim was way up front, ahead of his time for the way he shared things, and how he could get others to share. I had numerous phone calls, and lengthy ones with him. He was filled with idea's. Always trying to make things easier for others. He always told me he was a collector of results, nothing more. I would joke with him that someday he himself would research, the bug would bite him. As time went by, he started to research. He could remember things well. I would have to go back and look things up not even knowing where or what folder and files I had them in, where as he would remember them in his head enough to know where to go to find the answers in his files fast.
I am no Jim. I am not a replacement of or for him. No one can fill those shoes. I am here to help out in any way I can, to help this forum continue in the way Claw would have liked to have seen it

Jim was a very cool dude who was always someone that you could talk to and have a conversation with and get an honest answer without any hidden meanings behind it. Jim was a Facebook friend when we had our brief Sports and wrestling page.

HarryG I first encountered The Clawmaster all the way back to the rec.sport.pro-wrestling days. The name kept popping up and no matter where I discovered more IWC-WC, KM, OSW-Jim was always there and always a positive presence. Jim and Beej left OSW and while I decided to stay with the ship as it sank, both men let me know that the door was open to Sports and Wrestling-provided that I hadn't drowned. I miss him as a friend, but also as a constant reminder that you could be a member of the IWC and NOT act like a douche. Jim was class personified and this is a wonderful tribute to a man who left here far too soon for my tastes.

I'm commenting that Jim's legacy is in the many people who utilize this forum for results to supplement archives for other projects. I wish this forum could organize things better, but that was a skill that drove Claw to excellence specifically.
