Dave Scherer @davescherer · Jun 20 Replying to @ericst1 Smart people discuss. Booger eaters yell and deny facts. The dopes are the latter. That’s why they can’t post on my page.

RHEA GETTING STEPHANIE MAC-LIKE, AEW-NJPW, BIG CANADIAN GATES AND MORE By Dave Scherer on 2023-07-05 10:00:00
When you write or say something (or sometimes don’t) it gets twisted and manipulated, but what is the most outlandish thing you’ve read or heard that you’ve allegedly said?
Oh man, there are so many things that are ridiculous that people say so I will just go with recency bias. The brain dead booger eaters that quote my tweets on Twitter and add comments like “Why didn’t you talk about blood when ECW did it” or “Why do you hate chair shots to the head now when you loved them in ECW” would make me laugh except there’s a possibility that they will find a woman as stupid as they are reproduce. If they were even slightly informed they would know I did rail against the chair shots and the blood almost 30 years ago. But, dimwits don’t let the truth get in the way of their false narrative.

I knew him personally at this time and this is a lie. I can’t claim with 100% certainty that he never wrote anything negative about it, but as a fan I saw him eating this shit up. And imagine Scherer being the one guy who knew about the dangers of concussions in the ‘90s when no one else was taking it that seriously, even doctors.

I would love to see any proof in writing of him railing against the dangers. Fucking douche.

I do know that Scherer and Johnson hated unprotected chairshots after seeing what they did to people in ECW. Whether they cheered it on in ECW or not is beyond me. But going back to around '02, I remember them saying too many people got too badly injured to support chairshots to the head.

Saying it in 2002 isn't quite the same as when they were both marking out for it at the Arena (and other venues) from 1993-2001

It's very immature to pretend that you were always against something that you once supported. New evidence has come to light, and he likely has personal experience of how too many chair shots to the head affected people. It's okay to say that your position has changed over time. Scherer always sounds like he is just conpletely miserable. I hope he's not like this off-line.

And also, he absolutely never popped for Balls Mahoney.

Hell, you don't even have to look up his writing, you can go back and watch any ECW show from '95 or '96 and see him marking out for chairshots and cane shots. He's the pasty white guy with the moustache that sat dead center in the bleachers across from the camera about three rows from the top. Same seat every show. Screenshot attached. Attachments:

I don't get this. Mike Johnson today --- Whatever happened to James Storm? I believe he has a business outside of professional wrestling now. I've always been pretty surprised that he didn't find himself in demand for MLW or Ring of Honor as a veteran talent.-------------------------- Is he talking about the same guy that is still wrestling regularly at age 46, and the current 3XW Champion? www.cagematch.net//?id=2&nr=914&page=4

There is no way in hell that he didn't write this one.
WHAT PHIL COLLINS/PETER GABRIEL HAVE IN COMMON WITH WWE/AEW, THOUGHTS ON HARDY-CORNETTE, THE STRIKE AND MORE By Dave Scherer on 2023-07-16 10:00:00 Is there a comparison from another genre that you can use to compare AEW fans to in relation to how they just won’t admit that WWE is more successful?
Actually I can. When the band Genesis started Peter Gabriel was the singer and they played progressive rock. Then Gabriel left and Phil Collins became the singer and they moved into rock/pop. I didn’t love the change but millions of dollars later I totally get why they did it. I was the AEW fan back then who longed for the old version of the band, but I was also able to see that financially, I couldn’t even compare the success of the two versions of the band. The Collins version was WWE. The Gabriel version was AEW.

From Twitter. June 29
Dave Scherer @davescherer · Jun 29 There's a reason I don't watch Dynamite live and the opener is that reason. Moxley is disgusting. His love of bleeding like a pig really makes me wonder if he has some kind of issue. If your kid cut himself the way Mox does, you would take them to a mental health professional.

His love of bleeding like a pig really makes me wonder if he has some kind of issue. If your kid cut himself the way Mox does, you would take them to a mental health professional. This guy’s watched wrestling all his life with the likes of Abdullah the Butcher, The Sheik, Bobo Brazil, Dusty Rhodes and so many others having foreheads that look like toad maps, and now he’s suddenly acting like a millennial who’s just trying to figure out what wrestling is for the first time. I think he needs a mental health professional because this type of severe personality change after 50 isn’t normal.
