This is also why they want to scrub anyone with a real Vince connection, and quickly. I think they’ll work hard not to scrub triple H, but may have to and if they do…who the heck are they bringing in to do his job? If it is true how did HHH not know? It depends on what is considered knowing. It seems like a lot of fans want smoking guns to prove various higher ups knew Vince had a woman working for the company that he was effectively pimping out and with whom he had a depraved sexual relationship in which she felt more like a prisoner than a partner. All this started as Vince getting a job for a person perceived as his girlfriend. Things went south when Linda found out. Then Vince had to get rid of Janel Grant and paid her money to keep quiet, using corporate funds instead of his own. Despite all that, even Vince showing raunchy photos, the issue of Janel Grant considering herself to have been trafficked, bullied, and physically harmed might not have entered the mind of anyone not involved, even if they knew of the relationship and considered it inappropriate. It would have been very easy to figure Janel Grant was game for all that was going on and to not want to get involved, inappropriate or not, based on the idea that private lives are private lives.

Wasn't he tapping Baba's wife? She was apparently very fond of him. Those rumors ring a bell.

I always took it as salacious rumors based on the joking premise that the only way Johnny Ace could get a push was by sleeping with the boss’ wife.

Umm the boss fucking a secretary not doing anything, who has no qualifications, all happening in the office? It sounds over the top. But if 1/2 is true, it is messed up and obvious.

Lesnar part seems a little weird. Has there ever been rumors of him and any impropriety?

Look, I am a horrible typist, and make tons of errors. I use Siri to text when driving….and she cannot always get my Louisiana drawl. But pussey??? I would shout pussy into my phone in my Vince voice to see how Apple spells it, but I’m afraid to be canceled. It comes out as "bay" or "post" for me.

There is a post-Rumble press conference and all the wrestlers are being asked about and addressing the Vince allegations.

There is a post-Rumble press conference and all the wrestlers are being asked about and addressing the Vince allegations. Mostly skirting the issue. Pretty much what people probably expect them to do. Either they had no idea and found out realtime with everyone else, or if some knew they sure as hell aren't saying anything.

Thought Cody and HHH answered them well. Sure the top told them not to answer questions about it.

There’s some speculation this morning about Stephanie’s imminent return to WWE to get a blood McMahon back in the family business. It seems like she genuinely didn’t know what was going on until the first revelations broke, at which point she basically stormed out of the company and was adamantly against Vince reinstating himself. Now that he’s gone for good, the door has opened for her to return. The personal relationship between Vince and Stephanie is said to have been severely damaged since the initial allegations as she was aware that her parents were still married in name only and that Vince was dating one woman in particular who was mostly age-appropriate and whom she thought highly of, but had no idea about all the other stuff and was sickened by it.

The news about Stephanie makes a lot of sense and ties into my earlier point regarding Hunter. Knowing Vince has had other women is one thing. Knowing that he ensured a girlfriend was hired is another and, while inappropriate, is hardly unheard of in family businesses, non family businesses too. However, the depraved nature of Vince’s relationship with Janel Grant is on an entirely different level.
It can’t be taken for granted that the sickening extent of what happened was common knowledge in the company as it occurred, even when Vince showed the photos. Nor can it be assumed that when Linda became aware of the situation and Vince paid off Grant to get her out of the company and his life that the board subsequently thought it was anything more than a misuse of company funds. Even if you figured Vince was a weird guy, few people would assume something this sick was going on.

Even if you figured Vince was a weird guy, few people would assume something this sick was going on. The text messages were shared around Titan Tower, so some of the more depraved stuff seems to have been out there. Vince had his “boys club” of even lower level employees that he liked to show off to. They were in a tough spot, when Vince wants you to laugh at his sick shit and your job depends on it, I guess you turn your humanity off and just go along with it. Meltzer says that Stephanie wasn’t in close proximity to Vince’s office, and worked away from the office often, so this physical distance could’ve realistically shielded her from a lot of the rumors. Also, the fact that she’s a woman and the boss’ daughter puts her in a different situation than the men, even Shane, who were more likely to have heard the jokes and been shown pics and messages. It’s realistic that this is also stuff that Shane would not have been comfortable telling his sister once he found out.

Out there yes. Out there to the point the board would learn about it without kicking over rocks is harder to pin down.
Anyone who’s spent time working in a corporate environment can tell a tale or two of people who had romantic or sexual relationships with co-workers, of people who told crass and inappropriate jokes, of people comparing notes with co-workers about who in the office they found attractive, of suspicions about supervisors getting too close with underlings, and so on. Situations that are HR department nightmares. For any situation that led to someone getting disciplined or dismissed, there are others that glided under the radar and faded into the ether, never to be discovered or discussed.
I am not in any way excusing Vince, Laurinaitis, and others for their gross misconduct, including the board if it turns out it swept anything under the rug or willfully ignored red flags that should have led to questions and investigations. My point is a lot or companies have subcultures, for lack of a better term, that stay so far underground that people at the highest levels have no idea about what’s going on or a plausible reason to suspect something, even if other high level people are involved.

You can take them out of the trailer park but you can't take the trailer park out of them. Vince probably never got therapy for being sexually abused as a young kid. I'm certainly not gonna condone what Vince did, but Janel knew from early on that she was gonna be his mistress. I don't think she ever imagined being crapped on, being passed around, having her nude pics floating around, or being forced into a threesome. From the beginning of this relationship, he greeted her in his underwear. Right then and there, she should have split.
I'm also shocked that Lesnar was part of this. He seemed like a very private devoted family man.
