Bret Hart has spoken: “I think, despite all of the issues I ever had with Vince McMahon, I knew, deep down, I always respected him as a person. But now, knowing what kind of a weirdo he became, I have absolutely zero respect for him.” Fair enough. And a lot of people feel the same i guess.

All of this makes me think back on that infamous internet article that had been going around for years citing just the wildest shit that was going on in the wrestling bidness. Doesn't seem so crazy now does it lol.

Well Vice just dropped a previously unreleased statement from Ashley Massero, and not about the Tribute for the Troops rape. This one is about direct sexual harassment by Vince. She says he was seen making out with WWE Divas all the time, but never paid attention to her until her Playboy shoot. Then he called her hotel rooms and cell phone non-stop. She told Kevin Dunn, who gave the brilliant advice to pretend she was sick until he stopped. After his advances were ignored, Vince personally wrote promos for her in an attempt to “destroy her career”, and she told Michael Hayes, who admitted she couldn’t say that stuff on TV but when he found out Vince wrote it, he said “them’s the breaks”. It’s unclear if she ever actually cut those promos. Theres a redacted name of another Diva who the same thing happened to and was driven out of the company for not sleeping with Vince.
The statement makes it clear that Diva pushes were solely based on whether or not you fucked Vince, and everyone knew it, and now brings this from an “office” issue to one that effected the product and the wrestlers directly. So now we get the popcorn and wait to hear what every former female wrestler has to say about this. This is now a Harvey Weinstein situation. It also makes it more clear than ever that all “Vince people” probably have to be expelled like Dunn was.

If that's true then Kevin Dunn had knowledge of the situation and didn't protect the other employees. He might want to get a lawyer.

But now, knowing what kind of a weirdo he became, I have absolutely zero respect for him.” Bret’s full statement has been released: "I'm going to speak my truth. I'm not worried about Vince's feelings. He's never cared about mine. "I don't have any problem with everybody kicking his head around the parking lot. I'm OK with the truth coming out. "I don't think this is the only incident of this kind of predatory behavior. I think you'll find that it's everywhere (in #WWE). "It's like Jeffrey Dahmer, Harvey Weinstein, or Jeffrey Epstein: Vince will be a joke. He'll be used for humor, and you'll shake your head at the shock value of some joke about, 'What did Vince McMahon do?' He'll always be associated with this story, especially as it gets bigger and bigger and bigger. "I always had a respect for him. Now it's tainted. I'm embarrassed that I thought so highly of him. "I think, despite all of the issues I ever had with Vince, I know, deep down, I always respected him; but now, knowing what kind of a weirdo he became, I have absolutely zero respect for him. I do not think I could ever shake his hand if he extended it. Too creepy."

If that's true then Kevin Dunn had knowledge of the situation and didn't protect the other employees. He might want to get a lawyer. I don’t know how Michael Hayes can stay employed either, but those were the only two names dropped. The truth is, EVERYONE had to know. And it wasn’t just at the office as previously thought. Certainly much of the talent, agents, writers, etc. knew. Vince wasn’t really being secretive about it because he’s a megalomaniac. HHH obviously knew. It’s a very tough spot to be in when you have not just your boss but this creepy father figure type who your life pretty much revolved around for decades, and now you’re supposed to tell him not to do something and report him? To who? The Board is going to do something? You know that’s the end of your career and that probably nothing will change. It’s an awful spot for everyone to be in. I’m no Dunn fan and I understand he’s enormously wealthy in his own right and doesn’t have to worry about being unemployed. But it takes an enormous amount of courage to be a whistleblower and go against the person who’s employed you for decades. Most aren’t going to have that courage to blow up their lives as they know it, and it’s not just about money.

a) come out and deny sleeping with Vince to get the push or b) admit it was how they got the push
If they come out and say they didn't sleep with Vince, everyone silently says "Suuuuure you didn't".

I think Trish will deny until the day she dies. It’s a shame that her push will always be in doubt now because she got so good and eventually deserved it in her own. Lita I guarantee wasn’t Vince’s type, and I don’t think he ever tried anything with her. Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson, that spotlight’s on you now. We all know what they brought to the table, and it had nothing to do with wrestling. Vince might be Eskimo brothers with George Clooney. How nice for him.

On the plus side it sounds as if Bertha Faye got an unlikely tupping.

Stacy and Torrie were too gorgeous for pro wrestling. I think they transcend this. I’m not sure they automatically had to sleep with Vince, even though it’s not out of the realm of possibility. I think you have to look at some of the other slightly less attractive chicks who seemed to get nice pushes from mid 2000s and on. Mickie. Melina. Alexa Bliss. Victoria. Just spitballing here.

Kelly Kelly is a name I forgot. How could Vince not try to get up in that?

This is like two or three years removed from her showing up in the crowd on Nitro wearing some kind of cosplay Nitro Girls outfit?

I don’t know how Michael Hayes can stay employed either, but those were the only two names dropped. Based solely on the above info, and giving 100% plausible deniability, even though I believe there is zero percent, I took the conversation with Hayes as to being about promos, and not the sex part. Kind of like "if the boss wrote the terrible promo then you have to read it,"
