in this case, it is Stan the lariat Hansen. on a few occasions, he would be the tag partner of Bobby Duncum in the AWA for select dates when his schedule allowed. There is a notable tag team match from the studio where Stan punched Wally Karbo and effectively was suspended from the territory.

There is a notable tag team match from the studio where Stan punched Wally Karbo and effectively was suspended from the territory. As per my post, I already ruled him out. He was in Georgia and wrestled in Augusta that night. It's possible that it's supposed to be Stan Hansen in the advert, but he definitely didn't make the date.

05/15/1984 Kingston, Ontario, Canada WD has results listed on this date for Hamilton, Ontario (about 300 miles from Kingston) with Buddy Hart (aka Bret Hart) being in the tag match with Tony Parisi rather than Angelo Mosca, but otherwise the lineup is the same. Two different cards or a typo for the city on WD? This ad comes from a Kingston newspaper so maybe a Hamilton card was a matinee? These questions I ask...

View AttachmentThe most obvious answer is that we have the Hamilton date wrong. Given that there is no venue for the Hamilton card on WD, it almost certainly comes from a secondary source.

07/05/1985 CEDAR RAPIDS, IA Partial results for card listed on WD. JYD winning the match was a day before Valentine dropped the IC title so the victory may have been a COR or made a non-title bout.
